The Steltman Upholstered Chair from Pastoe exemplifies Gerrit Rietveld’s final, masterful achievement in geometric abstraction. Originally conceived for a jeweler’s boutique in The Hague, this iconic piece utilizes clean, rhythmic planes to create an asymmetrical composition that shifts beautifully from every vantage point. Its architectural silhouette serves as a testament to mid-century modern precision, offering a sculptural presence that transforms any sophisticated interior into a curated gallery of classic design.
